Surfing For One Way To Avoid Plagiarism?

Mark asks…Specific questions about plagiarism when writing a paper?If I were writing a research paper on a disease, should I put quotation marks around statistics, symptoms, etc. in order to avoid plagiarism?

And a lot of time, I find many sentences really can't be rephrased because there's only one way to express them. If I quote all those sentences, wouldn't I be quoting throughout my entire paper, or major portions of my paper? If I leave those sentences as original and cite the sources,
