A uniform string (T= 50N, l=2.0m, total mass 0.40kg) propagates a wave whose amplitude is 0.10m and whose period is 2.5 s. Two flies are sitting on the string at a distance of 0.20m apart.
What is the phase difference between the flies? Which one leads?
I usually got problems where I had been given y and t, and then would just plug in the values into the formula y=Acos(wt +ø) and solve for ø, however
