Surfing For After Starting The Pill How Soon Is It Effective?
Lisa asks…Birth Control Pill?I started taking my pills on the 6th day after my period began. I'm going to see my long distance boyfriend soon(may not see him in awhile after) and wanted to know how effective the pill would be, if you have unprotected sex a week later, or 2 weeks after you began taking them? The instructions I got with it says you should be protected from pregnancy after a week's time. But I hear it takes a month by some people. Can someone explain to me why some say a week,
