Laura asks…Problems with starting engine, only starts if I press accelerator?I have an unusual problem with my 2002 SL500. The car starts perfectly fine in the mornings, but after about a hours worth of driving, I cannot seem to start the engine, unless I press down on the accelerator at the same time as starting the ignition. Seems like I have to force the fuel to get the engine going.
