Sandra asks…constructive and distructive waves? --physics?I have a problem understanding constructive and distructive waves.
The formula for constructive is n(wavelength) , whereas the formula for distructive is (n+0.5)(wavelength).
if d1 was 4.5m and d2 was 1.5m , why is it destructive wave?
4.5m-1.5m is 3m and then it should be constructive , otherwise, "n" wont be an integer in the distructive formula.
and if d1 was 5m and d2 was 1m, it is surely constructive because in this case n
