Surfing For How Many Liters Of Air Are In A Room?

Ruth asks…does anyone know how to do this chemistry ?thanks so much. i will choose best answer.

How many air molecules are in a 13.0 x 12.0 x 10.0 ft room? Assume atmospheric pressure of 1.00 atm , a room temperature of 20.0 degrees celcius , and ideal behavior.

Volume conversion:There are 28.2 liters in one cubic foot.Nancy answers:P*V= n*R*T

n= N/L

p*V= N*R*T/L

N= p*V*L/(R*T)= 101325 Pa * 475,488 m^3 * 6,022*10^23 mol^-1 / (8,314 a m^3 mol^-1 K^-1 * 293,15 K)= 1,145*10^28
