Surfing For Physics Formulas For Waves?

William asks…Physics Question (Waves)...?A stretched string is forced to vibrate with transverse displacement y=0.3sin(9t). If the tension in the string is 4N and it's mass per unit length is 1.25g/m calculate:
a) the wave velocity
b) the frequency

I've managed to get the velocity using v=√(T/μ), but I have no idea where to start with the second one. The only formula for frequency that I can think of is the obvious one, f=v/λ but that uses the wavelength which I don't have. Any
