Surfing For To Lift Up?
Mary asks…How can i measure lift of a model airfoil without a windtunnel?I have a science fair project coming up, and wanted to do it about aerodynamics. I was wondering how i could measure the amount of lift created by model wings made from Styrofoam , without a windtunnel. Is it possible to create a single beam balance and connect the wing to it. Than Use a fan to create airflow, and add weights to see how much the airfoil can lift. I really need a good quick answer. THnkazz :ONancy
