Surfing For In More Than?
Thomas asks…How can get approval if I build the house more than allowable coverage area?I have extended my house 1% more than the maximum lot coverage. Miximum loat coverage area in R4 zone in NYC is 45% , my coverage area 46.5%. Is there any way I can get this approval?Nancy answers:Presumably you will need a zoning variance from your local zoning board or whatever entity handles that in your area.
