Linda asks…Is it acceptable to have music with lyrics that are degrading towards women?There are a lot of lyrics that are degrading towards women, whether it be through objectifying their bodies or the words they use. In the end, however, is this acceptable or not? Of course it is not a healthy thing to have people, even children listen to, but it could be argued that people don't listen to words in songs anyway.
