Helen asks…What could possibly be responsible for the following symptoms ? (please see details)?Fatigue, lightheaded, cold/hot flashes (feel hot, cold and clammy at the same time) mostly around the shoulders and upper torso, now and then tingly hands as if a light rush of adrenaline and a bit of depersonalization. Basically the symptoms of hypoglycemia, but without the hypoglycemia.
I am 32. Doctors around here rarely seem to take people seriously, I haven't yet had good luck with them.

David asks…How early in a pregnancy can you feel fatigue - possibly TMI?A few days ago the condom broke while my husband and I were having sex. He didn't finish because of it, and I put in some spermicide after the fact. But it was right at the time of the month that I could probably get pregnant.
Anyway, since not long after that, maybe 3 days since that incident, I've been feeling really fatigued - dozing off riding in the car, watching TV, just times that I wouldn't normally feel tired. I

Betty asks…Depersonalization/Lack of Focus- Help? For almost the entire summer, I've felt disconnected from my thoughts. It's been making me very depressed, and it might also be responsible for some of this fatigue I'm having too. I've heard DP is caused by stress, but the only stress I have right now is the DP itself. Anyone know how I can relieve the DP, or whether this is DP at all?Nancy answers:Woah?? How do you feel disconnected from your thoughts?? Are you insane or something?? Lol

Paul asks…List the potential sites within skeletal muscle that may be responsible for fatigue ?WAT COULD THEY BE ? THANKSNancy answers:The slow muscles and fast muscles that we use on a regular basis are fatigue resistent, but when those muscles are not able to handle the load, a third type of muscle, a fast reacting muscle starts being used, which is not fatigue resistant. These muscles, when overworked, don't get enough oxygen and start going into anaerobic respiration, in which lactic
